Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

315 Content ("the site," "we," "us") is a private, invite-only community platform for local content creators in the Central New York / 315 area. This policy explains what information we collect, how it's used, and your choices.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

We do not collect payment information, location data, or browsing activity outside of this site. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to operate the site: authenticating you, displaying your name and avatar to other members, and storing the content you choose to share with the group.

Who can see your information

315 Content is invite-only. Your name, avatar, bio, and any content you post (chat, forum posts, projects, files) are visible to other approved members of the site — not the general public.

Data storage

Information is stored in a private database on our hosting provider and is not sold, shared, or rented to any third party. Uploaded files are stored on the same server.

Google Sign-In

We use Google OAuth to authenticate members. We only request your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) — we never request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google services. You can review or revoke this access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Your choices

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active on the site. Old chat messages may be periodically cleared for housekeeping purposes.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll note the updated date at the top of this page.

Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be directed to Charlie DeLong, the site administrator.
